CALL for the submission of offers for the preparation of a feasibility study

The International Association “Interactive Open Schools” is opening a call for proposals for the preparation of a feasibility study. The feasibility study will serve as a starting point and a guideline for the preparation of a project initiative that will offer project interventions for the modernization of the educational systems of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
1. Purpose and objectives of the feasibility study
The aforementioned feasibility study should serve as a basis for making a decision on the type of interventions, services and activities that will be implemented in a purposeful manner, with the aim of providing professional support to the education sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is primarily aimed at the target groups with which MIOS Tuzla works: educators in formal and informal education, students (especially students who come from marginalized environments and live below the poverty line in Bosnia and Herzegovina) and young people primarily in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also beyond.
2. Description of jobs and tasks
Attached to this call is the Terms of Reference with detailed description of expected work and deliverables.

3. Feasibility study product
The final version of the feasibility study together with baseline study is to be submitted in English language, with a translated version into one of the official languages in Bosnia and Herzegovina no later than November 5, 2023.
4. Time frame
The start of the feasibility study is September 1, 2023, whereby the draft of the study is expected by October 10, 2023, and the final version by November 5, 2023.
5. Content of the offer
The proposal for the preparation of the feasibility study should contain the following:
- CV of the consultant with a description of relevant experience,
- proposal of the methodology that will be applied in the study,
- the time frame in which the study will be carried out and the phases of the work,
- draft content of the feasibility study,
- the price, i.e. the fee and terms of payment for the execution of the work,
- references of the organization relevant to the execution of the work.
6. Deadline for submission of offers
Offers should be submitted to the e-mail address: mios@ioskole.net no later than Monday, August 28, 2023 until 23.59h, with the email subject: Feasibility study offer.
Shortlisted bidders will be invited to an interview via Zoom, after which the best bid will be selected and a contract will be concluded on the implementation of the contracted work.
Untimely and incomplete bids will not be considered. All bidders will no later than August 31, 2023 be informed about the outcome of the process of selecting the most favourable offer.
